The Halo Counter offers precise cell counts for mammalian cells, but also small cells like algae, yeast and many bacteria. Up to 8 samples can be processed at the same time. As an absolute novelty, with the optional Halo BOX you can count adherent cells and run cellular assays in microtiter plates. And all that for an amazing price!

With its innovative sample stage technology, the Halo Counter does not require plastic consumables, reducing the lab's cost and plastic waste significantly. AI based software modules provide precise and reproducible results for various cell types and assays ranging from simple live/dead counts to expression profiling. 

For regulated environments a CFR21part11 software option is available.

How do we avoid plastic consumables?

Sample and dye are directly applied to the Halo Counter's glass sample carrier, and wiped clean with a tissue after counting, ready for the next round.
